Proto-metal, proto-punk, NWOBHM, stoner rock, psychedelic, 70’s rock. Usually this makes me yawn and mumble something about do we need another one of these bands.

The band Riot is a favorite band and their album “Fire Down Under” is an all top ten album for me. Being a fan since 81-82 I have come across very little information about the band. Which reminds me to check out Martin Popoff’s book “Swords and Tequila: Riot’s First Decade” from a few years back.

Udo with flowing blond hair! A good live set from the Breaker tour. Wish there was more from this tour and the “Restless & Wild” period. I rate them higher than Priest and Maiden, one of my all time favorites.
